Choosing Your First Business ProjectA business project in Edventures is where you work on a specific idea or venture. Everything you do β chat with Anna, your Business Model Canvas, action plans, notes, and team β is organised around projects. This guide helps you decide whether to create your first project during onboarding and how to do it.
What is a business project? A business project is a container for one idea or venture. Inside it you can:
Chat with Anna about that specific idea and talk about anything from strategic to very detail operational topics Build and refine your Business Model Canvas iteratively as your project grows and develops Create action plans and action points to keep you focused and make meaningful progress Add notes and collaborate with team members Each project is separate, so you can work on multiple ideas in parallel.
βΌοΈ NOTE: multiple business projects require a Pro subscription.
Should you create a project during onboarding? Yes, if you already have an idea β You can start right away. Give your project a name and a description. We recommend that you use this step to make your onboarding faster and smoother, as this step helps set up a core feature of the platform right away, instead of doing it later.
However, you can skip if you’re not sure yet β Creating a project later is very easy. If you don’t have a specific business idea yet, you can take some time to explore the app first, chat with Anna, and then create a project when they’re ready. Through the general chat (found in the menu bar on the left side), you can also brainstorm ideas with Anna, who will help you create a business project once you’ve narrowed down a business idea you want to pursue.
How to create your first project If you choose to create a project during onboarding:
β
Completing Your Edventures OnboardingAfter you’ve created your account, you will go through a short onboarding process. This helps personalise your experience and gets you ready to use the app. Completing the onboarding takes less than a minute.
Overview of the steps The onboarding process has five steps. You’ll see a progress indicator at the top so you always know where you are.
Profile details β Tell us a bit about yourself Topics β Choose your areas of interest (these interests will help our AI get a better understanding of you) First project (optional) β Hit the ground running and create your first business project by giving your project a name and a description Discord (optional) β Choose to join the Edventures community to connect with other first-time founders, get help with the platform, and much more Subscription (optional β Choose between the Free or Pro tier Step 1: Profile details You’ll be asked for:
Date of birth β You must be at least 16 years old to use Edventures Gender β Optional, for personalisation Location β Select your city (knowing where you’re based will make our AI more relevant when providing coaching and advice) Bio (optional) β A short description of yourself Profile photo (optional) β Personalise your space even more by uploading a photo for your profile Step 2: Topics Choose the topics that interest you. These can include areas like:
Advertising, Agriculture, Arts & Media Business Services, Consumer Goods, Education Finance, Food & Beverages, Healthcare and many more Select all that apply. This helps Anna tailor content and advice to your interests to create a truly personalised experience.
Step 3: First project (optional) A business project is where you’ll work on a specific idea or venture. You can create your first business project right away or skip this step. All you need to provide in this step is a name for the business project, along with a description of the business idea. This information will be a starting point for Anna to help you with your business. See Choosing your first business project for more guidance.

How to Create Your Edventures AccountCreating an Edventures account is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through each step so you can get started with confidence.
Step 1: Go to the signup page From the Edventures landing page, click Sign up for free, and you’ll be taken to the signup form. You can also click this link to go directly to the signup form.
π‘ Tip: If someone shared a referral link with you, use that link. You receive a 15% discount when you upgrade to Pro subscription within 90 days of creating your account, and your friend earns a bonus for referring you. It’s a win-win.
Step 2: Enter your details Fill in the form with:
First name and last name Email address β Use an email you check regularly. You’ll need it to verify your account. Password β Choose a strong password that you’ll remember. You’ll need to confirm it by typing it twice. Make sure all fields are filled correctly, and that you’ve ticked the Terms of Service box before continuing.
Step 3: Submit and wait for verification After you submit the form, we will send a verification email to the email address you provided. Make sure you check all your inboxes (and if worst case, even the spam folder) for an email from Edventures. For example, Gmail and other email providers now separate transactional and promotion email into separate folders, so make sure you check these if you don’t see the verficiation email in your inbox.
Step 4: Verify your email Click the link in the verification email. This confirms your email address and activates your account. You’ll be redirected back to the login page of the app.
Note: If you don’t receive the email within a few minutes, check all your folders (inlcuding the spam) or request a new verification link from the login screen. If you still haven’t recevied an email, send us an email or reach out to a team member in our Discord community.

Anna Chat Threads and ProjectsAnna’s chat is organised by projects. Each business project has its own chat threads, so your conversations stay focused and relevant. This guide explains how threads work and how to switch between them.
Threads per project Each of your business projects has its own chat threads with Anna. When you switch projects, you switch to that project’s conversation and context. Anna knows which project you’re in and can tailor her advice accordingly.
Example: If you have two projects β “Mobile app idea” and “Local bakery” β each has separate chats. Your conversation about the mobile app won’t mix with your bakery discussion.
How to switch chat threads In the sidebar, click on the project you want to open. Below the project, the existing chat threads will appear. Select the thread you like to open. You’ll see the conversation for that project. Your chat history is saved per project. When you return to a project, you’ll see your previous messages and can continue the conversation.
Thread limits Your subscription tier limits how many chat threads you can have per project:
Free β Up to 1 threads per project. A thread is a conversation. When you start a new topic, you may start a new thread. Pro β Up to 10 threads per project. More threads let you organise different topics or phases of your work. Tip: If you’re on Free and need more threads, consider upgrading to Pro. See How to upgrade to Edventures Pro.
Why threads matter Anna gets more useful the more she knows about your journey. Threads help you keep that context organised and accessible over time.
Keep coaching focused β Each thread holds a specific line of thinking. You might have one thread working through your Business Model Canvas, another stress-testing your go-to-market approach, and another preparing for a pitch. Keeping them separate means Anna always has the right context for the conversation at hand. Build on previous sessions β Scroll back (or ask Anna) to see how your thinking has evolved, revisit decisions you made weeks ago, or pick up a discussion you parked. Your coaching history is a record of your progress, not just a chat log. Avoid context overload β Long, unfocused conversations make it harder for Anna to give precise advice. Shorter, topic-specific threads keep her guidance sharp and relevant. Stay organised as your project grows β As your venture becomes more complex, threads let you separate early ideation from execution-stage conversations, so nothing gets lost and you can always find what you need. Chat history Free β Your last 30 days of chat history are visible per project. Pro β No time limit. You can scroll back through your full chat history. For more on using Anna effectively, see Referencing your work in Anna conversations and Using the Idea Capture panel with Anna.
π¬
How to Start a Conversation with AnnaStarting a conversation with Anna is simple. This guide walks you through opening the chat, sending a message, and getting a response.
Step 1: Open Anna chat You can chat with Anna in two ways:
General chat β No project needed. Use this to brainstorm freely, explore ideas, and figure out what you want to build. You can even create a new business project directly from the general chat once you’re ready. Project chat β If you have a business project, each one has its own dedicated chat thread with Anna. She knows your project’s context and tailors her guidance accordingly. To open a chat:
In the sidebar, click General chat or on one of your business projects. If you have a business project, click on the project you want to work on. Threads will appear below the business project. The chat panel will open with the conversation area and a message box at the bottom. NOTE: The number of threads you can have are based on your subscription. To open more threads, upgrade to Pro.
Step 2: Type your message In the message box at the bottom of the chat interface:
Click to focus the field. Type your question or message. You can write as much or as little as you like. The more specific you are, better the conversations. Step 3: Send your message Click the paper plane icon to send your message. Your message will appear in the chat. Anna will start processing your request.
Step 4: Wait for Anna’s response Anna will reply in a few seconds. Her response will appear in the chat as a new message. You can:
Read the response β Scroll if it’s long. Ask a follow-up β Type another message to dig deeper or clarify. Reply to a message - Reply to a specific message in the chat history to include in your new message what you’re referring to. Copy a message - If you want to share or use the message Anna sent you somehwere else, you can easily copy that message by clicking the stacked papers icon. Like a message - If you like a reply from Anna, show us you like it by clicking the thumbs up icon. Don’t like a message - If you think a reply from Anna has low quality or didn’t meet your need for any reason, you can click the thumbs down icon. Tips for better conversations Start with a clear question β Try explain what it is that you want or looking for in a clear way. This makes it easier for Anna to answer than a vague prompt. Think of it as asking a real coach. Provide context β Mention your project or idea and more details if you have that. For example: “I’m building a food delivery app for students. How do I reach my customer segment?” Use the Idea Capture panel β Open the side panel to work with your notes and action plans in parallel to chatting with Anna. See Using the Idea Capture panel with Anna. For more on how project chats and threads work, see Anna Chat Threads and Projects.
π
Referencing Your Work in Anna ConversationsWhen you chat with Anna inside a project, she already has context about your work β your Business Model Canvas, notes, and action plans are part of what she knows about you. You don’t need to explain your project from scratch every time you open the chat.
What Anna already knows When you’re working within a project, Anna has access to:
Your Business Model Canvas and its current content Your action plans and their status Your notes Your chat history for that project This means you can jump straight into a question β “Is my value proposition strong enough?” or “What should I focus on this week?” β and Anna will answer in the context of your actual project, not with generic advice.
When and why you’d add extra references Sometimes you want Anna to focus on a specific part of your work, bring in something new, or emphasise something she might not be weighing heavily enough. That’s when referencing is useful.
For example:
You’ve just updated your value proposition and want feedback specifically on the new version You’ve written a note from a customer interview and want Anna to draw insights from it You want to discuss a specific action plan in detail without Anna drawing from the broader project context You have documents or files you want to upload and add to Anna’s knowledge about your project. In these cases, attaching or referencing that item tells Anna: this is what I want you to focus on right now.
How to add a reference Option 1: Idea Capture panel The Idea Capture panel sits to the right of the Anna chat and gives you quick access to your action plans and notes.
Open the panel using the Idea Capture icon in the top right corner of the chat interface. Browse your work across the tabs. Click to reference an item β it will attach to your next message. See Using the Idea Capture panel with Anna for full details.
π‘
Using the Idea Capture Panel with AnnaThe Idea Capture panel is a side panel that appears when you’re chatting with Anna. It shows your Business Model Canvas, action plans, and notes so you can quickly reference them in your conversation. This guide explains how to use it.
What is the Idea Capture panel? The Idea Capture panel is a collapsible panel that sits on the right of the Anna chat. It gives you quick access to:
Action plans β Your plans and action points Notes β Your project notes Instead of switching to another screen, you can browse and reference your work without leaving the chat.
How to open the panel Open Anna chat for a project. Look for the Idea Capture icon on the right. Click it. The panel will expand from the side. How to close the panel Click the close button or the Idea Capture icon again. The panel will hide, and you’ll have more space for the chat.
Tips for using Idea Capture Keep it open while chatting β You can use multiple items in one conversation without closing the panel. Use it for follow-ups β After Anna gives advice, reference the updated item and ask: “Does this look better?” Switch between tabs β Move between action plans, and notes as your conversation shifts. When the panel is most useful The Idea Capture panel is especially helpful when:
Working with Anna in parallel to your action plans You’re discussing something with Anna and need to take a note separately, outside of the chat For more on referencing, see Referencing your work in Anna conversations.
Having trouble with the Idea Capture panel? If you can’t find the panel or want tips on using it effectively, our Discord community is a great place to get help from the Edventures team, see how others use it, and connect with fellow founders.

Action Plans and Action Points in EdventuresAction plans help you break your goals into clear steps. Each plan contains action points β specific tasks you can track and complete. Our platform helps you create plans with Anna’s support. This guide explains how.
What are action plans? An action plan is a list of steps or tasks for a goal. For example, “Launch MVP” might be a plan with action points like:
Research competitors Define core features Build prototype Get first 10 test users Each action point is a concrete task you can work on, set a deadline, and mark as done.
What are action points? Action points are the individual tasks inside an action plan. They’re the things you actually do. You can:
Add action points manually Complete them when done (check them off) Edit them if your plans change Refine them if needed, using Anna to help you update them How many plans and points can you have? Your subscription tier sets the limits:
Tier Action plans per project Action points per plan AI generate/refine per day Free 1 3 1x Pro 5 10 3x AI generate/refine means how often Anna can create or refine a plan for you per day.
Creating an action plan Go to your project overview and open the Action plans tab. Click Generate action plan. Explain what the action plan is about in the prompt. Anna will create and save a plan based on your input. Your plan is created. Completing action plans When you finish a task:
Open the action plan by clicking Open plan. Click the … to open the options. Select Mark all done. The plan is marked as completed. You can view your completed Action plans by selecting Completed in the Status dropdown. Using Anna to refine plans Anna can help you improve your action plans. For example:

Business Model Canvas (BMC) in EdventuresThe Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a tool for mapping your business idea. It breaks your model into key segments so you can think through each part clearly. Edventures lets you build and refine your BMC with AI support. This guide explains how.
What is the Business Model Canvas? The BMC is a one-page framework with nine segments. Each segment represents a crucial part of your business:
Customer segments β Who are your customers? Value propositions β What value do you offer? What problem do you solve? Channels β How do you reach your customers? Customer relationships β How do you interact with and retain customers? Revenue streams β How do you make money? Key resources β What assets do you need (people, technology, etc.)? Key activities β What do you do to deliver value? Key partnerships β Who do you work with? Cost structure β What are your main costs? We also include a business idea segment at the top to capture your overall concept. This is not part of the original BMC framework, but it’s a useful way for us and yourself to capture your overall concept.
How to fill in your BMC There are two ways to fill in your BMC:
1. Use Anna to help you fill in your BMC Click on your project and open the any thread. Click the paperclip icon in the chat input field to the left. Select a file from your device. Choose a PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, or image. In the chat field, you can add additional instructions β e.g. “Focus on the customer section” or “Extract from slides 3β5” if you like. Click Send (the paperplane icon). Anna will process your file. Review the results. Anna will suggest content for your BMC segments. You can accept, edit, or reject each suggestion. Tip: If you have an existing document (pitch deck, business plan, etc.), you can upload it and let Anna extract BMC content for you. See Generate BMC from documents in Edventures for more details.

Edventures Business Projects OverviewA business project in Edventures is where you work on a specific idea or venture. Everything you do β chat with Anna, your Business Model Canvas, action plans, notes, and team β is organised inside projects. This guide gives you an overview.
What is a business project? A business project is a container for one idea or venture. Think of it as a workspace. Inside each project you have:
Anna chat β Conversations about that specific idea Business Model Canvas (BMC) β Your business model for that venture Action plans β Plans and action points Notes β Project notes Team β People you collaborate with on that project Each project is separate. Switching projects switches your context.
How many projects can you have? Your subscription tier determines your project limit:
Free β 1 business project Pro β 5 business projects If you’re on Free and need more projects, consider upgrading. See How to upgrade to Edventures Pro.
The project overview screen When you select a project and go to the project overview, you’ll see the main sections:
BMC β Your Business Model Canvas. Fill in the segments to map your business model. Action plans β Create and manage action plans. Break goals into steps. Notes β Add and organise project notes. Anna can help generate or refine them. Team β Add team members and manage collaboration. Settings β Project settings (e.g. name, description). You can switch between these sections using tabs or a sidebar within the overview.
Creating a new project Use the project switcher in the sidebar. Look for Add project or Create project. Enter a name and, optionally, a description. Confirm. Your new project will appear in the switcher. Note: You can only create more projects if you’re within your tier limit (1 for Free, 5 for Pro).
Switching between projects Use the project switcher at the top of the sidebar. Select the project you want to work on. Your chat, BMC, action plans, notes, and team will update to show that project’s content.
π
Generate BMC from DocumentsIf you already have a pitch deck, business plan, or other documents that describes your business, you can upload it to Anna and let her create or update the Business Model Canvas content. This guide explains how it works.
What is BMC by document? BMC by document is a feature that reads your file and pulls information relevant to the Business Model Canvas. Anna identifies customer segments, value propositions, channels, and other segments, then fills in your BMC tiles.
Supported file formats You can typically upload:
PDF β .pdf Word documents β .doc, .docx PowerPoint β .pptx Images β .jpg, .jpeg, .png Check the upload dialogue in the app for the exact list. Unsupported formats will be rejected.
File size limits Your subscription tier affects how many and how big files you can upload:
Free β 1 attempt per day. Maximum file size 10MB. Pro β 10 attempts per day. Maximum file size 25MB per file. If your file is too large, try compressing it or splitting the content.
How to use BMC by document Open a project thread. Look for paperclip icon. You find it in the chat input field to the left. Click it to open the upload dialogue. Review the results β Anna will suggest content for your BMC segments. You can accept, edit, or reject each suggestion. Apply to your BMC β Save the extracted content to your BMC tiles. Tips for better results Use clear documents β Well-structured documents with headings and clear sections tend to work best. Include relevant content β The more your document describes customers, value, channels, etc., the better the extraction. Add instructions β If your document is long, use additional instructions to guide the AI to the right sections. Daily limits Free β 1 BMC by document attempt per day. The limit resets daily. Pro β 10 attempts per day. If you hit your limit, wait until the next day or upgrade to Pro for more attempts. See Edventures Free vs Pro.

What are team members? Team members are other Edventures users you invite to work on a specific project. They can:
View and edit the project’s BMC, action plans, and notes Chat with Anna in that project’s context See the same project overview as you Team membership is per project. Someone can be a member of one project but not another. You’re in full control.
How many team members can you add? Your subscription tier sets the limit:

Go to the Team members section. Find the team member in the list. Click Remove or the remove icon. Confirm. They will lose access to the project. Note: Removing someone doesn’t delete their Edventures account. It only removes their access to that project.
Tips for collaboration Invite the right people β Add collaborators who will actively work on the project. Communicate β Use Anna chat or external tools to coordinate. Reference shared notes and plans in Anna for alignment. Respect limits β Stay within your tier’s team size. Upgrade if you need more seats. Step 1: Request a reset link Go to the Login page. Click Forgot password? (the link is below the password field). A modal window opens, labelled “Reset password”. Enter the email address associated with your Edventures account. Click Send link. We will send a password reset link to that email address.
Step 2: Check your email Look in your inbox for an email from Team Edventures or hello@edventures.ai. The email will contain a link to reset your password. The link is valid for TTTT time. *π‘ TIP: Modern email providers nowadays filter emails in different inboxes, like “Newsletters”, “Transactional”, or “Promotional”. Make sure to check all these inboxes if you can’t find the reset email in your main inbox. Worst case, also check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes.
Step 3: Set your new password Click the link in the email. You’ll be taken to the password reset page. Enter your new password in the password field. Enter it again in the confirm password field to make sure it matches. Click Reset password or Save. Tips for a strong password:
Use at least 8 characters (more is better). Mix letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid obvious choices like “password123” or your name. Step 4: Log in with your new password After resetting, you’ll be redirected to the login page. Enter your email and your new password to sign in.
If you didn’t receive the email Wait a few minutes β Emails can be delayed. Check spam β Reset emails sometimes land in spam. Check the email address β Make sure you entered the correct address when requesting the reset. Try again β Request a new reset link. Some systems invalidate old links when a new one is sent. If you’re already logged in If you want to change your password while logged in, go to your account and click Change password.

Verifying Your EmailAn crucial step of the onboarding process is verifying your email address. This confirms that the email is yours and helps keep your account secure. This guide explains why it matters and how to do it.
Why verify your email? Email verification is important because it:
Confirms your identity β Edventures knows the email belongs to you and not a bot. Activates your account β You can’t fully use the app until your email is verified. Protects your account β It helps prevent someone else from signing up with your email. Enables recovery β If you forget your password, you’ll need access to this email to reset it. How to verify your email Step 1: Sign up When you create your Edventures account, you enter your email address and password. After you submit the form, we send a verification email to that address.
Step 2: Check your inbox Open the email app or service you used to sign up. Look for an email from Team Edventures with the subject “One last step [your name] before you can explore the Edventures platform!”. Check all your inboc folders, including promotions, newsletter, spam or junk folders if you don’t see the email in your inbox within a few minutes from requesting the email. Step 3: Click the link Open the email. Click the verification link in the email. It will take you to the login page of the Edventures app. Your account is now verified. Login to continue with the onboarding. What if you didn’t receive the email? Wait a few minutes β Verification emails can take a short time to arrive. Check all your inbox folders β Sometimes they end up in promotions, newsletter, spam or junk. Check the address β Make sure you entered the correct email when signing up. If you have gone through all these steps and still haven’t received a verification email, contact us through our Discord community, or send us an email.
πReferral programme
π
Edventures Referral Programme ExplainedThe Edventures referral programme lets you invite friends and others to try the app. When they sign up using your link, they’re eligible for a first-time purchase discount on our Pro tier. You benefit when they join and when they upgrade by getting a bonus from us. This guide explains how it works.
What is the referral programme? The referral programme is a way to share Edventures with other budding founders and entrepreneurs you know. In your profile page, find your unique referral link. When someone uses your link to sign up, we can see that you have referred them. The programme is simple:
They receive a discount when they upgrade to Pro (if they upgrade within 90 days of creating an account) You earn rewards when they make their first purchase of the Pro tier How do you get a referral link? Every Edventures user has a unique referral link. You can find it in:
Your profile β Open your profile from the sidebar (click on your name in the bottom left corner). Look for the “Invite & earn” section. Your link looks like this: https://alpha.edventures.ai/refer/[unique code]. Share this link with friends, on social media, or in your network.
What happens when someone uses your link? They click your link and are taken to the Edventures sign up page. On this page, they will see a gift box icon and a text saying You were referred by [your name]. They need to complete the process to sign up for an account. Once that is done, their account is linked to you as the referrer. If they upgrade to Pro within 90 days of creating their account, they get a discount (see Referral discounts for new users) on their first payment of the Pro subscription. This discount applies to both monhtly and yearly subscriptions. You can track your referrals (see How to track your Edventures referrals). π‘ Tip: Since your friends will get the same discount on the monthly or yearly subscription, make the most of it and save up to 33% by choosing the yearly subscription!
π
How to Share Your Edventures Referral LinkSharing your Edventures referral link is easy. This guide shows you where to find it, how to copy it, and how to share it effectively.
Where to find your referral link Open the sidebar and click on your name in the bottom left corner. Scroll to the Invite & earn section. Your referral link will be displayed. How to copy your link Find your referral link as described above. Click the Copy button. Your link is now in your clipboard. You can paste it anywhere (message, email, social media). Tip: After copying, you see a brief confirmation message in the button “Copied”. This means it worked. If you don’t see the button changing, please reach out to us.
What your link looks like Your link follows this format:
https://alpha.edventures.ai/refer/[your unique identifier] The link is unique to you and your account. Anyone who clicks the link and signs up will be counted as your referral.
How to share your link You can share your link in many ways:
Direct message β Send it to friends, colleagues, or contacts via email, WhatsApp, or other messaging apps. Social media β Post it on Twitter, LinkedIn, or other platforms. Add a short note about why you like Edventures. Your website or blog β If you have a site, add a link with a brief recommendation. Communities β Share in entrepreneurship groups, Discord servers, or forums where it’s allowed. Tips for sharing Add context β Tell people why you use Edventures and how it helps you. A personal recommendation is more effective than a bare link. Mention the discount β If referred users get a discount on Pro, mention it. It gives them a reason to use your link. Respect rules β Don’t spam. Only share where it’s appropriate and allowed. If your link isn’t available If you don’t see a referral link in your profile or carousel, probably an error has occured. Please reach out to us if you can’t see your referral link.
π
How to Track Your Edventures ReferralsWhen you share your Edventures referral link, you can track how it’s performing. This guide explains what stats are available and where to find them.
What can you track? Edventures typically shows these referral metrics:
Link clicks β How many times someone clicked your referral link Successful signups β How many people created an account using your link Successful purchases β How many referred users upgraded to Pro (or made a purchase) These numbers help you see how effective your sharing is.
Where to find your referral stats Open the sidebar and click Profile. Scroll to the Referral or Invite friends section. Your stats will be displayed there. You may see: Total link clicks Number of signups Number of purchases (or successful referrals) The exact layout may vary, but the referral section is usually in your profile.
Understanding your stats Link clicks β High clicks but low signups can mean people are interested but not ready to sign up. Try adding more context when you share. Signups β These are people who created an account. They may upgrade to Pro later. Purchases β These are referred users who upgraded. This is often the most valuable metric for the referral programme. Tips for improving your referrals Share with the right people β Focus on people interested in entrepreneurship, startups, or business ideas. Explain the value β Tell them what Edventures does and why you use it. Mention the discount β Let them know they can get a discount on Pro when they use your link. If you don’t see stats If the referral section is empty or you don’t see it:
You may need to share your link first. Stats appear after people interact with your link. The referral programme may work differently in your region. For more on sharing, see How to share your Edventures referral link.

Referral Discounts for New Edventures UsersIf you signed up for Edventures using someone’s referral link, you are eligible for a discount when you upgrade to Pro. This guide explains how it works and when the discount applies.
How do you get a referral discount? You get a referral discount when:
You sign up using a referral link (e.g. https://alpha.edventures.ai/refer/refer/ABC123). Your referral is linked to the person who shared the link with you (the referrer). You upgrade to Pro before the discount expires (valid for 90 days from the day you create your account). When you go to the Invite & earn section to upgrade, the discount will be applied automatically if you’re eligible.
What does the discount look like? The discount is a percentage off the Pro price (15%). It applies to your first Pro purchase (monthly or yearly, same discount for either period). The discounted price will be shown on the checkout page before you pay. Does the discount expire? Yes. Referral discounts are valid for 90 days from the day you create your Edventures account. After that date, the discount has expired. The expiration is shown in the checkout screen.
When does the discount NOT apply? The discount may not apply if:
You didn’t sign up using a referral link The discount has expired You’ve already used a referral discount (e.g. on a previous Pro purchase) You’ve purchased a Pro subscription before If you believe you should have a discount but don’t see it, please send us an email or reach out to us in our Discord community (see below).
Upgrading with a discount Go to your profile page, using the sidebar. Scroll down to Invite & earn. Click View details. Click Upgrade to Pro. This will open a Stripe checkout page. NOTE: the checkout page opens as a pop-up, and your browser might block it at the first attempt. Ensure you allow pop-ups or click the blocking message to open the pop-up window. Check that the discounted price is shown and properly applied in the checkout. Complete the payment. The discount is applied at checkout. For more on upgrading, see How to upgrade to Edventures Pro.
